Fortus 360mc printer | The printer uses FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) technologies for producing object prototypes. It involves the gradual deposition of "liquefied" thermoplastic material on the model base, resulting in a model. The printer contains two heads. One of them is supplied with a construction material (e.g. ABS-M30), and the other with support (e.g. T12SR30) supporting the prototype creation process. Both heads move in the space of 355mm x 254mm x 254mm. | Paweł Turek, D.Sc. Eng. | |

The printer uses the LPD (Layer Plastic Deposition) technology, the technology of layering the molten material. The material (1.75 mm in diameter) is delivered through a nozzle (0.4 mm in diameter) mounted in one V3 head. The working area of the printer is 200x200x180mm. |
